Of help for the farm in its tending towards the openness for the general public, leisure time activities and agro-tourism was the Rural Development Programme, Axis IV Leader. At the end of 2010, the project application was submitted under the Call of the LAG Říčansko o.p.s. and passed stringent evaluation by the LAG selection committee. The project implementation was a hard nut to crack for a small farm, in terms of both technical and economical aspects. The entire project had to be pre-financed and the grant returned only after the project had been fully completed and accounts settled. This means that for the duration of the project implementation the investor was fully footing the costs of the project.

The project triggered also much other related necessary technical work, which had not been originally foreseen, and in fact was much more expensive, compared to the planned budget. This means that the total costs of the project rose to almost CZK 3 million and a grant in the amount of CZK 1,048,742 (originally 60%) amounted to only about one third of the total costs. There was virtually no one on the farm, who would not have helped with the project, and thus, also thanks to much volunteer work, the project was successfully completed.
