The HtDN complements the IFAD toolkits on Poverty targeting, gender equality and empowerment and the Land Tenure Toolkit.

It builds on the work carried out by IFAD around the world and highlights pertinent issues and good practices on how to address issues of women’s tenure rights.

The HtDN aims to provide guidance for country programme teams, consultants and technical advisors, on designing projects with gender-sensitive interventions targeted at strengthening tenure security to achieve more equitable development.
