Ecological vineyards gain ground on the Hungarian southern side of the Danube
Business experience, personal interest in developing sustainable agriculture and the non-reimbursable support obtained through Measure 123 helped one of the most renowned experts in the wine-growing field in Hungary establish an ecological wine-growing unit south of the Danube. The techniques used in the farm respect the true character of grapes and are appreciated by more and more consumers, taking into consideration the fact that more than 2 500 European wine-growing enterprises obtain wine from organic grapes. These arguments were the reason why the manager of the Malatinszky wine factory decided to ask for non-reimbursable support in order to develop an ecological vineyard.
