The Youth Association of International Animal Science and Technology (YAIAST) is an international non-profit organization primarily led by youth, dedicated to promoting the cultivation of talents and innovative development in animal husbandry science and technology. Its predecessor was the "Point Grass Into Gold" comprehensive straw feeding utilization project team, which won the third prize in the 2021 Global AgriInno Challenge organized by the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO). Based on the original project platform, it has gradually evolved into a scientific research exchange platform open to young people worldwide. The organization aims to enhance the international perspective, innovation capability, and practical skills of young talents in animal husbandry science and technology, actively promote the voice of youth in the international animal husbandry sector, and contribute to the sustainable development of the global animal husbandry industry.
