EuSalt is included in table I of document CX/EXEC 22/82/7 as part of the non-governmental
organizations that did not meet nor provided evidence of meeting the conditions set forth in the Principles
and thus, CCEXEC recommended that its status as Observer with Codex be revoked.
Notes
Founded in Paris in 1957, as the European Committee for the Study of Salt (ECCS), the organisation subsequently developed into the European Salt Producers' Association (ESPA). At the beginning of 2004, the association moved to Brussels and was renamed EuSalt.
