GOED was formed July 19, 2007 as a non-profit corporation. Our mission is to work with government, healthcare, and industry groups to educate consumers about the benefits of EPA and DHA omega-3 fatty acids, as well as to establish ethical, quality and safety standards that ensure consumers have access to food products they can trust containing these important fatty acids.
