亚洲协调委员会区域：区域协调员 日本
亚洲协调委员会于 1976 年 7 月在意大利罗马举行的食品法典委员会第 11 次会议上成立。该委员会的第一次会议于 1977 年 1 月在（印度）新德里举行。
区域协调员在日本农林水产省内开展工作。
日本作为亚洲区域协调员，旨在坚持法典的核心价值，即包容性、合作、建立共识和透明度，同时追求以下目标
- 通过促进意见交流，促进区域内的合作与协调，以便亚洲成员能够充分了解并有效地参与委员会及其附属机构；并且，
- 促进区域协调委员会进行公开和建设性的讨论，以确定有关消费者健康保护和确保区域内食品贸易公平做法的当前、新出现和关键问题，并及时解决这些问题。

FSSAI spreading food safety awareness in every sector
