GENERAL INFORMATION
The 55th Session of the Codex Committee on Food Additives (CCFA55) has been scheduled to take place in Seoul, Republic of Korea from 24 to 28 March 2025.
Physical working groups (PWGs) will take place on 21 and 22 March 2025 (see details below).
The plenary sessions of CCFA55 will be webcasted live in Chinese, English, French, Korean and Spanish.

PHYSICAL WORKING GROUPS (PWGs)
The following sessions are planned (English only):
  • Friday 21 March (09:00-18:00 KST): PWG on the General Standard for Food Additives (GSFA)
  • Saturday 22 March,
    - (09:00-12:30 KST): PWG on the General Standard for Food Additives (GSFA) ... cont.
    - (14:30-18:00 KST): PWG on Endorsement/alignment

INFORMATION FOR DELEGATES
Practical information for delegates planning to attend CCFA55 will be available as soon as possible.
The Plenary session will also be webcast in listening mode. To follow the broadcast please register here (Link will be available as soon as possible).
Delegations attending CCFA55 remotely cannot make verbal interventions, and they will not be included in the list of participants of CCFA55.

ONLINE PRE-REGISTRATION
Delegations attending CCFA55 physically should provide their information (names and addresses) through the Codex Online Registration system by accessing the link below, at the latest by 24 February 2025.
Login and password for the online registration have been provided to all Codex Contact Points and Contact Points of Observer Organizations.
If the login and password have not been received, please contact [email protected].

ON-SITE REGISTRATION
On-site registration (to collect your badges and other materials) will be available on:
  • Friday 21 and Saturday 22 March 2025 from 08.00 to 16.00 KST; and
  • Monday 24 March 2025 from 08.00 KST.

DOCUMENTS
The documents for the session are available in English, French and Spanish. There will be no distribution of working documents (including the report of the session) through the Codex mailing list (Codex-L) except for circular letters. All working documents, including conference room documents (CRDs), information for delegates and other relevant materials, will be published on the Codex website as they become available. We kindly remind you to obtain all documentation from the Codex website prior to the meeting as no printed documents will be made available at the session.
