GENERAL INFORMATION

The 42nd Session of Codex Alimentarius Commission will be held at the Centre International de Conférences Genève (CICG), Rue de Varembé 17, 1211 Genève, Switzerland. The session will begin at 9:30 on Monday, 8 July 2019. The Session will be conducted in English, French, Spanish, Arabic, Chinese and Russian.

ONLINE PRE-REGISTRATION

Registration for the 42nd session of the Codex Alimentarius Commission is now open. Please note that registration can only be completed through the Codex Contact Points (Member Countries / Observer organizations). Codex Contact Points are responsible for the registration of all participants in a Member country/Observer Delegation.

Note for Codex Contact Points: To register participants from your Delegation you will need to log-into the Codex website with your existing credentials. Please enter the Online Registration System, and select CAC42 at the bottom of the table of the meetings open for registration. You will be redirected to an external registration system (INDICO), which is the designated registration system for CAC42. Once in this system you will be required to complete the mandatory fields for each member of your Delegation. A list of the required information is available here.

Please note that, if needed, VISA letters for delegates can also be requested through this system.

Please note that there will be no distribution of working documents through the Codex mailing list (Codex-L). Only the invitation and the provisional agenda will be distributed to members and observers. All working documents, and any subsequent new documents not referenced on this Provisional Agenda, including any other information for delegates, will be published on the Codex website as they become available. Working documents will not be printed and delegates are kindly requested to bring with them to the meeting all documents which have been distributed as no printed copies will be made available at the session.
