Ad hoc Codex Intergovernmental Task Force on Antimicrobial Resistance

GENERAL INFORMATION

The 7th Session of the Ad hoc Codex Intergovernmental Task Force on Antimicrobial Resistance will be held at Alpensia Resort, Pyeongchang, Republic of Korea from December 9th-13th. The opening session will commence at 9:30 am on Monday, December 9, 2019 and conclude after the report adoption on Friday, December 13.

English, French and Spanish interpretation will be provided during the PWG meetings and plenary sessions.

Wi-Fi will be available at the meeting venue so working documents and other information can also be downloaded during the meeting.

ONLINE PRE-REGISTRATION

Delegates are kindly requested to use the online registration system. We encourage delegates to register by November 9, 2019.
Your Codex Contact Point (CCP) has been provided with a username and password for the system.
Please contact your CCP for assistance in registering online.
If the login and password have not been received, please contact the host secretariat [email protected].

ONSITE REGISTRATION

The registration desk will be open at Alpensia Convention Center in the Alpensia Resort on Friday December 6, 14:00-18:00 and from Saturday to Monday, December 7-9, 08:00-12:00.

VISA

Foreign nationals entering Korea are generally required to have a visa, while Korea’s visa waiver program enables nationals of some countries to travel to Korea for certain period of time without a visa.
In order to check whether you’re allowed to enter Korea without a visa, please contact a Korean embassy or consulate or visit the websites in the Information for Delegates.

PHYSICAL WORKING GROUPS

Remember that there will be Physical Working Group meetings on:
  • Saturday December 7, 09:00-18:00 for CoP, and

  • Sunday December 8, 09:00-18:00 for GLIS.

Delegates are requested to bring their own documentation to the meeting. This documentation is available in English, French and Spanish in the table here below.
Conference Room Documents will be available electronically during the session.
