GENERAL INFORMATION
The 55th Session of the Codex Committee on Food Hygiene (CCFH55) will be held from 15-19 December 2025 at the Sheraton Grand Nashville Downtown Hotel, Nashville, Tennessee, United States of America.

The opening session will start at 9:30 Central Standard Time (CST) on Monday, 15 December 2025.

Discussion sessions will take place on 15-17 December 2025.

The adoption of the Report will take place on Friday 19 December 2025 from 10:00 CST.

Remote participation (via Zoom) in the physical working group meetings and plenary session will be possible for listening and verbal interventions.

Simultaneous interpretation will be provided in English, French and Spanish during the meeting.

WORKING GROUP
The physical working groups (PWGs) will take place on 14 and 15 December as follows:
  • Sunday 14 December (9:30-12:30, CST): Annex II (French and Spanish) and Annex IV (French and Spanish) for inclusion in the Guidelines for the safe use and reuse of water in food production and processing (CXG 100-2023) (Revised version of Annex II and Annex IV based on comments received for discussion in PWG)

  • Sunday 14 December (14:30-17:30 CST): Revision of Guidelines for the control of Campylobacter and Salmonella in chicken meat (CXG 78-2011) ( French and Spanish) (Revised version of CXG 78-2011 based on comments received for discussion in PWG)

  • Monday, 15 December 2025 (16:30-18:00 CST): CCFH work priorities (New work proposals/forward workplan)

Members and Observers planning to participate in CCFH55 in Nashville, either in-person or remotely, should provide their information (names and addresses) through the Codex Online Registration System (ORS) by 15 November 2025 at the latest.

If you only intend to follow the webcast, you can just access the link on this webpage that will be made available right before the meeting. Please note that webcast viewers do not register on the ORS, are not considered official participants, and may listen to the discussions and view the session but cannot intervene.
