GENERAL INFORMATION

The 12th Session of the FAO/WHO Coordinating Committee for Near East will be held physically in Muscat, Oman, from 28 September to 2 October 2025, at the Mövenpick Hotel and Apartments Ghala Muscat Ghala Heights Complex, Al Maardih Street, Muscat 111, Oman. Additional logistical details are available here.
The opening session will begin at 09.00 hours (GMT+4) on Sunday, 28 September 2025.
Sessions will take place on 28, 29, 30 September 2025 from 09:00 to 17:00 (GMT+4).
The adoption of the Report will take place on Thursday 2 October 2025 from 10:00 (GMT+4).
The Session will be conducted in Arabic, English and French. Simultaneous interpretation facilities will be provided in these languages.

There will be no distribution of working documents (including the report of the session) through the Codex mailing list (Codex-L) except for circular letters. All working documents, including conference room documents (CRDs), information for delegates and other relevant materials, will be published on the Codex website as they become available.
We kindly remind you to obtain all documentation from the Codex website prior to the meeting as printed documents will not be made available at the session.
