GENERAL INFORMATION

The 48th Session of the Committee on Food Labelling will be held in Québec City, Canada from Sunday 27 October to Friday 1 November 2024.

The Session will also be broadcasted in listening mode in English, French and Spanish.
Adoption of the Report: English, French and Spanish.

Codex Members and Observers are kindly invited to read the letter welcoming delegates to CCFL48.

Documents for consideration by CCFL48 will be published on this page as soon as they become available.
They will be available in English, French and Spanish.

No printed copies of working documents, including the draft report, will be made available for the plenary session.

WORKING GROUPS (WG)

---

The following two WGs are planned virtually (English, French and Spanish):

E-commerce: 16 October 2024, 9:00 – 12:00 EDT (15:00 – 18:00 CEST)

Food allergen labelling: 21-22 October 2024, 14:00 – 17:00 EDT (20:00 – 23:00 CEST)

Access to the virtual WG meetings will be provided following registration to the main CCFL Session.

These WGs are aimed at facilitating discussion in the CCFL plenary.
Delegates who will participate in CCFL are particularly encouraged to participate in these WGs.

ONLINE PRE-REGISTRATION

All physical participants should provide their information (names and addresses) through the Codex Online Registration System (ORS) by accessing the link below, latest by 27 September 2024.
Please note that online pre-registration is required only for PHYSICAL PARTICIPANTS (those planning to come to Canada for the plenary) and these registrants will automatically be registered for the VWGs.

Login and password for the online registration have been provided to all Codex Contact Points and Contact Points of Observer Organizations.
