GENERAL INFORMATION
The 53rd Session of the Committee on Food Hygiene has been scheduled to take place in San Diego, California, the United States of America on 29 November to 2 December 2022 with virtual report adoption on 8 December 2022. Physical working groups (PWGs) will take place on the afternoon of 27 November and for the full day of 28 November 2022. The PWGs and the Plenary Sessions of CCFH53 will be Webcast in English, French and Spanish.

Additional information on the next steps, the programme and other updates will be published here as soon as they become available.

The Session will also be broadcast on Zoom in listening mode in English, French, and Spanish. Further details on how to follow the broadcast of the meeting will be provided in due course.

ONLINE PRE-REGISTRATION

All participants should provide their information (names and addresses) through the Codex Online Registration system by accessing the link below, latest by 30 September 2022.

Login and password for the online registration have been provided to all Codex Contact Points and Contact Points of Observer Organizations. If the login and password have not been received, please contact [email protected].

ON-SITE REGISTRATION

On-site registration (to collect your badges and other materials) will also be available on Sunday, 27 November 2022 from 10:00-18:00 PST, Monday, 28 November 2022 from 8:00-18:00 and Tuesday 29 November 2022 from 8:00-18:00.

A virtual working group meeting (VWG) of the Electronic Working Group (EWG) on the development of Guidelines for the control of Shiga-toxin producing Escherichia coli (STEC) in raw beef, fresh leafy vegetables, raw milk and raw milk cheeses and sprouts: annexes took place on 9 June and 10 June 2022.
The comments received during the working group meeting are being incorporated into the working document for the session which will be published and circulated for comments in September 2022.
