GENERAL INFORMATION

The 49th Session of the Committee on Food Labelling (CCFL49) will be held in Ottawa, Canada from 11 - 15 May 2026.

The Session will also be broadcasted in listening mode in English, French and Spanish and the webcast link will be available on this page before the plenary session.

Practical information for delegates is available here. The programme will be available here when it becomes available.

WORKING DOCUMENTS

Documents for consideration by CCFL49 will be published on this page as soon as they become available.

They will be available in English, French and Spanish.

No printed copies of working documents, including the draft report, will be made available for the plenary session.

WORKING GROUPS (WG)

---

The following two WGs are planned (English, French and Spanish):

• VWG on food labelling provisions in emergencies: 5 May 2026, 9:00 – 12:30 EDT (15:00 – 18:30 CEST)
  
• PWG on use of precautionary allergen labelling: 10 May 2026, 9:00 – 16:30 EDT (15:00 – 22:30 CEST)

Access to the virtual WG meeting will be provided following registration to the main CCFL Session.

These WGs are aimed at facilitating discussion in the CCFL plenary.

Delegates who will participate in CCFL are particularly encouraged to participate in these WGs.
