The Master's Programme in Chemical Sciences with an Emphasis on Food Safety at the Faculty of Natural and Exact Sciences of the Autonomous University of Chiriquí will hold the Forum "Food safety and security: challenges and proposals from the academic community" in celebration of World Food Safety Day. The forum will focus on food safety and food security. National authorities and specialists will also be present. Additionally, a business exhibition, "Expo - business vision on food safety and food safety 2025," will be held, where national food production companies will showcase their products. A radio address will be given at the end.

The Food and Nutrition Safety course invites the community at large to this activity, which seeks to raise awareness among the Panamanian population about the care inherent in food production, from the field, through processing, and through the cold chain, with the goal of bringing safe food to the consumer's table and contributing to better health.
