With over 450 events organized across at least 109 countries and exposure of the World Food Safety Day hashtag on Twitter of over 800 million, the 2022 celebrations indicate a growing awareness about World Food Safety Day across the world. These events and social media engagement amplify key messages about food safety and the importance of collective responsibility for the health and wellbeing of all, showing the potential for World Food Safety Day to impact on this globally significant issue.
