The Ministry of Health of Peru (MINSA), through the General Directorate of Environmental Health and Food Safety (DIGESA) and together with the Ministry of Agrarian Development and Irrigation, through the National Agrarian Health Service of Peru (SENASA), as well as the Ministry of Production, through the National Fisheries Health Agency (SANIPES), have organized an “Educational Day for World Food Safety Day in Peru.”

The event will take place on June 4 and 5, in person and virtually through the Zoom Platform and YouTube, aimed at the general population. Likewise, on June 6, the three health authorities DIGESA, SANIPES and SENASA, with the participation of the Health Promotion Directorate of the MINSA, the Transparency and Anti-Corruption Office (OTRANS), the Municipality of Lince and other national institutions , have organized a parade to draw the attention of the population, with poles, banners, music and traditional Peruvian costumes. The parade will conclude in an educational mini-fair aimed at the general population, with games and prizes related to the celebration to raise awareness about the importance of safe foods with the Theme: Let's prepare for the unforeseen.
