World Food Safety Day / Japan lecture promotes food standards

Under the Japan–International Organisation of Southeast Asian countries (ASEAN) Public-Private Human Resource Development Platform for Food Industry, organized by the ASEAN Secretariat, a Food Value Chain Endowment Lecture was held at University Putra Malaysia (UPM).
On Wednesday 8 May, the Japan Food Safety Management Association (JFSM) President, Masanori Kotani gave a lecture on food safety standards, including national standards, international standards, and their requirements, as well as on Sustainable Supply Chains Assessment Platform (SSCAP), an Information and communications technology platform for social responsibility, developed by JFSM.
