World Food Safety Day / Food scientists and health professionals to discuss food safety and science
The Faculty of Nursing and Health Sciences at Notre Dame University-Louaize in collaboration with the Global Harmonization Initiative (GHI) and the Lebanese Association of Food Scientists and Technologists (LAFST) is holding a World Food Safety Day webinar titled “Food safety: science in action”.
This webinar will explore the vital role of science, covering topics like advancements in microbiology and analysis, traditional food fermentation, the principles behind food standards, and regulations and food satety systems In line with this year's FAO and WHO theme. International experts will discuss
how science helps reduce illness, lower costs, and save lives.
