In an internal company contest, the eco-packaging solutions company, Smurfit Kappa has asked its employees to choose a slogan and logo for the company’s week-long World Food Safety Day celebrations. The big reveal of the competition winner will take place on World Food Safety Day itself.

Other events will include awareness raising and a leaflet on the topic of food safety and an internal discussion with employees on what food safety means to them – and the part they can play in ensuring food is safe.

In addition, ‘Food Defense and Good Manufacturing Practices’ programmes will be promoted where staff will be rewarded for their participation.
