The Master’s Programme in Chemical Sciences with an Emphasis in Food Safety of the Faculty of Sciences of the Universidad Autonoma de Chiriquí, will celebrate World Food Safety Day on 7 June 2024, under the theme – “Prepare for the unexpected”. Conferences will be held on topics of food safety and security, and national food production companies will be present. There will also be a poster exhibition of related research. Finally, a radio address will be given.

The community in general is invited to this activity that seeks to raise awareness among the Panamanian population about the care inherent in food production, from the field, processing, cold chain, in order to bring safe food to the consumer's table, to contribute to better health.
