On 4 June, together with the InterAmerican Institute for Agricultural Cooperation (IICA) in Ecuador, Agrocalidad, Ecuador’s Agency for Phytosanitary Regulation and Control, held its 9th Food Safety Seminar, titled: Science in Action, promoting the creation of Ecuador’s Food Safety Risk Analysis Committee.

This event attracted more than 250 participants, including students, agricultural producers and the public sector.

Additionally, on 6 June the third edition of the 5K race for World Food Safety Day was help. This race had more than 120 participants.
