Second Arab Food Safety Summit planned for Saudi Arabia
A team of Food Professionals in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has planned a World Food Safety Day-related symposium in the three cities: Jeddah, Riyadh and Khobar.
This event will be the second of its kind in the Kingdom and will attract food professionals from the industry, academia and regulatory bodies. The first day will be a conference where six speakers will be speaking on food safety-related regional matters.
On day 2 there will be four workshops covering food standards, food defence, food fraud and traceability modules. In addition to that, there will be a technical session on Critical Control Points (CCP) and Operational Pre-Requisite Programmes (OPRP) categorization led by leading regional food experts.
The plan is to invite 1000 plus delegates from all over the Arab region to attend the series of events. All the delegates will be awarded with an "Attendance Certificate".
