The 30th edition of the Codex Procedural Manual is available for download

The latest edition of the Codex Alimentarius Commission Procedural Manual has been published online. This publication defines Codex’s Rules of Procedure, the procedures for the elaboration of the Codex Alimentarius, and the guidelines for the operation of Codex committees. CCFFV23 / Committee agrees on fresh dates as other produces also make progress

ACT / Surveillance study in Cambodia reveals need for urgent action

A recent surveillance study of foodborne antimicrobial resistance (AMR) in Cambodia has revealed an urgent need for stricter regulations on antimicrobial use in the country’s livestock sector. Codex Trust Fund / Republic of Korea hosts training and inspires action in beneficiary countries

In December 2024, the Codex Trust Fund (CTF), in collaboration with the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) of the Republic of Korea, organized the third joint training on good Codex practices. The World Trade Organization’s Agreement on Sanitary and Phytosanitary Measures (the SPS Agreement) references the texts developed by three standards setting bodies, as the reference standards for plant and animal health and food safety in international trade.
