The Japan Food Safety Management Association (JFSM) commemorated World Food Safety Day on 7 June in a hybrid event. This year marks the fourth time the event has been held.

A total of 436 people participated in the event, both on-site and online.

According to JFSM, they received many positive comments from participants such as, "I really sympathized with the theme of 'Actions based on scientific evidence lead to food safety", "The programme was very good learning opportunity with its advanced content, and I would like to apply it to my work," and "I recognized that awareness of food safety is important for all of us. I would like to apply the programme to my work," "I recognized the importance of everyone's awareness of food safety."
