World Food Safety Day / Food safety week in Poland to explore "Food safety: science in action"

In 2025, for the fifth year, Foodfakty is invites you to take part in their Polish initiative organized as part of the global World Food Safety Day observance led by FAO and WHO.

This year’s theme, “Food Safety: Science in Action”, highlights the vital role of scientific knowledge and its practical application in everyday efforts to ensure safe food. From laboratory research to modern technologies used in production, processing, and distribution, science equips us with tools and solutions that protect public health.

Effectively applying scientific findings requires active participation from all players in the food supply chain: farmers, processors, distributors, regulators, and policymakers. Together, we contribute to building resilient, sustainable, and safe food systems—grounded in trusted knowledge and responsible practice.

FoodFakty Safety Week 2025 includes five days of free, Polish-language online events:
