The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Lisbon and the Associated Laboratory AL4AnimalS is holding a World Food Safety Day celebration with the proposed theme “Food Safety: Science in Action”.

The objective is to share knowledge and experiences, enriching the debate, on the vital role that science plays in guaranteeing food safety, with the intervention of academia, food sector operators, competent authorities and consumers. As part of the theme of this year's celebration, the organizers will also disseminate results of the most recent scientific research developed in the area of ​​food safety at a national level.
