World Food Safety Day / Dairy webinar to explorer science in action in dairy processing

To celebrate this year’s World Food Safety Day 2025 under the theme “Science in Action,” the International Dairy Federation will host a webinar highlighting the vital role of dairy processing in sustainably producing safe and nutritious dairy products. The event is titled "The role of processing of dairy products in achieving food safety and the science behind it", and features three presentations on:
- History and evolution of heat treatments of milk demonstrating safety through science, with David Everett
- Microbial monitoring in a cheese processing environment, with François Bourdichon
- Processing with safety and sustainability in mind: use and reuse of water, with Bipan Bansal.
