In April 2025, the European Food Safety Platform launched a call for contributions among its members for proposing topics in line with the World Food Safety Day 2025 theme: "Food safety – science in action" 

On this basis, as part of this year’s World Food Safety Day celebrations, the EU Food Safety Platform presents a week-long virtual multi-actor dialogue initiative showcasing the science behind food safety, by gathering contributions from several platform members.
