IFADTERM
IFAD is pleased to collaborate with the Rome-based agencies by sharing its language termbase.
The termbase is managed by the Language Services in the Office of the Secretary and is available in IFAD's four official languages: Arabic, English, French and Spanish.
IFAD terminology is constantly evolving as new concepts and expressions arise in development cooperation in response to a changing global economic environment. Therefore, we welcome any comments and observations you may have to improve our termbase and keep it current and useful.
IFADTERM contains the following information:
- IFAD-specific terminology database
- IFAD departments/divisions
- Names of IFAD projects/programmes
The IFAD Style Manuals in Arabic, English, French and Spanish are also available online and can be accessed through the link on the right-hand side of the page.
