From global climate policies to local action: fostering supportive environments for farmer field schools on climate change

11/12/2024 11/12/2024

Dear colleagues,

We are glad to invite you to our upcoming webinar on Climate Resilience and Farmer Field Schools – From Policy to Practice. Governments made unprecedented commitments at COP 29 in Baku, tripling support for developing countries. These commitments hold immense promise for smallholder producer communities and Farmer Field Schools (FFSs), which are vital in driving climate change mitigation and adaptation efforts. Join us as we explore how global political processes, such as COPs on Climate Change, Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs), and National Adaptation Plans (NAPs), could translate into actionable interventions that empower smallholder farmers and enhance climate resilience.
Who Should Attend:
This session is tailored for FFS practitioners (Master Trainers and Facilitators), project coordinators, program managers, researchers, climate change experts, resource partners, and all stakeholders passionate about sustainable agricultural development.
