We are pleased to invite you to the sixth session of the Global Farmer Field School (FFS) Platform Webinar Series on Climate Change, focusing on engaging farmers in agrometeorological decision-making and integrating scientific and indigenous knowledge for climate resilience through FFS

Building on the discussions from earlier sessions, this event will highlight how Farmer Field Schools can serve as bridges between local knowledge and scientific climate information, empowering farmers to interpret, validate, and use climate information in their daily decision-making.

Through concrete examples from Bolivia, Kenya and Indonesia, the session will explore how combining traditional and scientific knowledge systems strengthens community-based climate adaptation.

🌾 In this session, participants will:

  • Learn how FFS facilitate co-production of climate knowledge through participatory learning and experientation.
  • Discover good practices and case studies on integrating local and scientific climate information for resilience.
  • Discuss the challenges and opportunities for improving farmers’ access to relevant and trusted climate services.
