Dear colleagues,

We are pleased to invite you to the fourth session in our webinar series on Farmer Field Schools (FFS) and Climate Change (CC), focusing on the how to shift from the vulnerability assessment and identification of weather threats to the formulation of adaptive options for farmer communities.

Following the discussions in earlier sessions, this fourth session will explore how climate change affects agropastoral production systems. Through interactive activities participants will be introduced to participatory tools designed for a diagnosis of crop and livestock production systems and the design of adaptive options for farmer communities.

In this discussion, we will address the following key questions:

  1. What diagnostic tools can Master Trainers and Facilitators use to assess the impact of climate change on crop production and agropastoral systems?
  1. What are the impacts of different weather threats on crop production and agropastoral systems?
  1. What are the various adaptation options available to farming communities?
