Workshop of the Anglophone West African FFS Network

Overall Goal: To establish a Regional FFS Network that will nurture, develop, study, adapt and promote FFS as an effective participatory extension strategy/approach for sustainable agricultural development in the Anglophone West African countries.

Specific Objectives:

i.                    To share knowledge, experiences and lessons learned in the implementation of the FFS approach in the various countries in the sub region

ii.                   Determine the major implementation challenges in the various countries in the sub region and how these can be addressed.

iii.                 To identify the FFS champions and actors in the implementation of the FFS Extension strategy in the various countries in the sub region

iv.                 To form a temporary delegation (which will be given clear Terms of Reference) to facilitate the establishment of the Network and a proposed mandate, before the formal election of an Executive Officers for the Network.

v.                   Propose, based on the discussions, next steps and ideas for activities towards the formulation of a Work-plan
