💡 Webinar #2: Transforming FFS Participants into Agrifood System Leaders – FAO Mozambique’s E-Voucher Experience
Under the EU-funded PROMOVE Agribiz project, FAO Mozambique is scaling up the use of IDEA, a digital e-voucher system that enables smallholder farmers to access quality agricultural inputs and services through local agro-dealers. This mobile-based solution promotes efficiency, transparency, and accountability—replacing traditional paper vouchers.
Since 2020, e-vouchers have been applied in development, resilience, emergency, and social protection programmes. A key innovation has been integrating this system into FFS activities. Participants use their individual or group e-vouchers to apply practices learned during training, boosting productivity, sustainability, and market engagement.
This inclusive, dual-voucher model (individual + group) is strengthening linkages between farmers and suppliers while empowering FFS participants as emerging leaders in their agroecosystems.
Join us to learn how digital tools are reshaping rural development in Mozambique.
