Within the framework of the Committee on World Food Security (CFS41) taking place in Rome from 13 to 18 October 2014, FAO-Food for the Cities, the International Sustainability Unit (ISU) and other partners and institutions are organizing a CFS Side Event to discuss the importance of City Region Food Systems as an integrated approach to rural and urban development and a new path towards higher sustainability of our food system.
The Side Event on “City Region Food Systems – Sustainable Food Systems and Urbanization” will be held on 17 October 2014, from 8:30 to 9:30 am, in FAO HQ, (Lebanon Room - D209).
