NEWSLETTER N. 2
6th March 2008
From the FSN Forum team

Two months have passed since our first newsletter in December 2007. Today, four months after its launch, our Forum has surpassed 600 members, discussed 8 topics, pooled over 300 resource papers and 35 useful web-links and shared 46 news and events.

The plan proposing new activities for 2008 will be finalized shortly with comments from Forum members. We have been carrying out two newly proposed activities, namely establishing the Forum’s Editorial Board and producing Forum briefs. Eight members have volunteered to take part in the Editorial Board and we are looking forward to receiving more expressions of interest.

With great support from the Editorial Board and contributors to the discussion “Nutrition Education – Important but often neglected”, the first Forum brief on Nutrition Education is being produced. A draft can be found online at: http://km.fao.org/fileadmin/user_upload/fsn/docs/FSN_NE_brief1.pdf

Please receive our sincere thanks for your great participation and support so far.

Warmest regards,

The FSN Forum Team

Kostas Stamoulis, coordinator
Huyen Tran, moderator
Dominica Navarro-Ros, assistant moderator
Christian Ciamarra, volunteer
