104. The Session endorsed the recommendation by Sub-Commission II contained in paragraph 89. It therefore recommended that a symposium on genetics, selection and hybridization in aquaculture, both for consumption and stocking purposes, should be organized in conjunction with the fourteenth session of EIFAC, preferably in collaboration with ICES. It suggested that a Steering Committee meet in Hamburg in the autumn of 1984 under the Chairmanship of Professor K. Tiews to draft a Prospectus and select a convenor for the Symposium.
