Subject: VISIT OF MR. RAJBANSHI
In the light of our telephonic discussion I have requested the FAO Office, Islamabad to approach the Chief Secretary and Secretary Food and Agriculture, Northern Areas of Pakistan under intimation to Ministry of Kashmir & Northern Areas Affairs regarding the visit of Mr. Rajbanshi. He intended to visit Gilgit for a period of one month, out of his seven months consultancy in AJK/Pakistan. It, however, seems difficult for him to visit you this time as a technical back-stopping mission, from FAO HQs, Rome, is now visiting the AJK on 19th instant for a period of 10 days. Thereafter, he would be having very little time as he is proceeding back to Nepal on 15.9.96. However, we would try to plan this visit during the next phase of his six months consultancy in 1997.
