The United States EPA and Department of Agriculture launched a national food loss and waste goal. The organizations partner with public and private sector to cut food loss and waste in half by 2030.

The report estimates the types and quantities of fish waste generated in the different sectors, from catching to processing, and summarizes the current utilization or disposal of that waste.
