International Household Survey Network (IHSN) Management Group

The mission of the IHSN is to improve the availability, accessibility, and quality of survey data within developing countries, and to encourage the analysis and use of this data by national and international development decision makers, the research community, and other stakeholders. The Management Group meeting oversees IHSN activities, sets policy direction, and communicates this direction to the Secretariat and IHSN constituency. 

9th Meeting of the Global Steering Committee of the Global Strategy to Improve Agricultural and Rural Statistics

This meeting will be opened by the Director-General, and discussions will focus on the new monitoring and evaluation framework, in addition to progress made on the research and technical assistance activities.

Meeting of the United Nations Chief Statisticians
10 September 2014
This will be the first meeting of the UN Chief Statisticians, and an extremely valuable opportunity to come together to discuss issues that affect the UN statistics community. The FAO Statistical Quality Assurance Framework and Statistics Governance within UN agencies will be on the agenda for discussion.
