This regional workshop on sampling for the new World Programme for the Census of Agriculture 2010 will be held in Bamako, Mali with the participation of 16 French speaking African countries: Mali, Senegal, Togo, Chad, Burkina Faso, Niger, Burundi, Guinea Bissau, Guinea Conakry, Gabon, Cameroon, Congo, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Benin, Cote d'Ivoire, and Cape Verde.
Purpose of the workshop
The purpose of the workshop will be to upgrade the technical knowledge and skills of national staff involved in the implementation of the new FAO World Programme for Census of Agriculture 2010, in particular the modular approach.
