Marker residue as total of cypermethrin residues resulting from the use of cypermethrin or alphacypermethrin as veterinary drugs |
| 评价概要 |
In recommending a suitable marker residue and common MRLs for cypermethrins used as veterinary drugs, the Committee consideredthe following factors: - alpha-Cypermethrin consists of two of the four cis isomers present incypermethrin. - A group ADI for alpha-cypermethrin and cypermethrin of 0-0.02mg/kg bw, which is equivalent to 0-1200mg per day for a 60 kg person, was established for the most toxicologically active substance(alpha-cypermethrin). - Using the common analytical methods for residue control, the eight isomers of cypermethrin cannot be resolved and a single, fused chromatographic peak is obtained. Therefore, residues reported represent the sum of all isomers. After considering the request for a common set of recommendationsfor residues of cypermethrin and alpha-cypermethrin in cattle and sheep tissues and rounding, as appropriate, the Committee recommended the following MRLs, expressed as the total of cypermethrin residues: muscle, liver and kidney, 50mg/kg and pid=63155; fat, 1000mg/kg and pid=63155; and milk, 100mg/kg.The recommended MRLs in muscle, liver and kidney were based on the limits of quantitation of the new methods, considering that the concentration of residues in both cattle and sheep tissues was less than or equal to 35mg/kg. The MRLs for fat and cow's milk were based on residue depletion data. These MRLs replace those previously recommended. TRS 925 |
