评价概要 At its fifty-eighth meeting, the Committee extended the temporary MRLs for tissues of cattle, pigs and sheep, and for cattle milk which had been recommended by the Committee at its fifty-fourth meeting. The MRLs for liver of 20 µg/kg were based on twice the limit of quantification of the analytical method as validated, and were harmonized for all species. Because data on the validation of the analytical method for sheep liver was still missing at the fifty-eighth meeting, the Committee repeated its previous request for data to confirm the limit of quantification of 10 µg/kg in this tissue, to be submitted in 2004.
No new data concerning the validation of the method for sheep liver tissue were received for consideration by the Committee at its sixty-second meeting. On the basis of the higher ADI established by the present Committee, a MRL of 50 µg/kg in sheep liver was recommended, being compliant with the LOQ of the validated method.
Furthermore, the Committee noted that only trace concentrations of cyhalothrin residues (below LOQ) were detected in sheep muscle, liver and kidney tissues and that quantifiable cyhalothrin residues were present in fat tissues only, at all time points in all residue depletion studies. The Committee therefore recommends fat tissue for residue monitoring.
Following the establishment of a permanent ADI, the Committee recommended permanent MRLs in cattle and pigs.[...]
Daily consumption of 300 g of muscle, 100 g of liver, 50 g of kidney, 50 g of fat and 1500 g of cattle milk, and applying the MRL for sheep liver, would result in a theoretical maximum daily intake of cyhalothrin residues from veterinary use of 156 µg, representing 52% of the upper bound of the ADI.
