评价概要 The Committee concluded that due to the genotoxic potential of olaquindox and in the absence of specific toxicity studies on the metabolites, no ADI could be allocated. Noting that the parent compound was absent in muscle at the proposed withdrawal period of 28 days and that the metabolites could partly be evaluated on the basis of toxicity studies in experimental animals, a temporary acceptance of residues resulting from the use of olaquindox in pigs in accordance with Good Practice in the Use of Veterinary Drugs was recommended.
