The ADI of 0-5 µg/kg bodyweight (300 µg for a 60 kg person) was established on the basis of a NOAEL of 0.5 mg/kg bodyweight per day and a safety factor of 100.
The Estimated Daily Intake (EDI) was not determined because there were insufficient data points to calculate the median values for residues. Using the model diet and a marker:total ratio of 5%, the MRLs recommended above would result in an intake of 255 µg per person per day, which represents approximately 85% of the upper bound of the ADI.
