This JECFA database contains information on the veterinary drugs and their residues in foods as adopted and proposed by the Committee, including:

  • Acceptable daily intake (ADI)
  • Maximum residue levels (MRL): species, tissues
  • Status of ADI and MRL (full, temporary, none)
  • Marker residue
  • Summary of decision on ADI/MRL
  • Other remarks

The Database can be searched by

Substance

Select "Drug name or fragment", type a name or a part of a name in the box "Keyword"and press the "Search"-button. E.g. the string "tetra" will return all compounds containing this sequence whether at the beginning or at the end.

Functional classes

Select "Functional class or fragment", type a functional class or a part of a class name in the box "Keyword"and press the "Search"-button. E.g. the string "anti" will return all compounds containing this sequence whether at the beginning or at the end. For a list of functional classes see below.

Status of evaluation

Select from the drop-down menu one of the criteria and press the "Search"-button. All compounds meeting the selected criterion will be listed.
