In celebration of the International Year of Fruits and Vegetables 2021 (IYFV2021) and NAIDOC Week, the Australian Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment gave out sets of IYFV2021 playing cards to participants at an Indigenous Workshop: Bush Foods and Medicine Plants.   

NAIDOC Week is a time to celebrate the rich history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and to continue the conversation on reconciliation.

The playing cards celebrate IYFV2021 and raise awareness of the nutritional benefits of Australian indigenous and non-indigenous fruits, vegetables, nuts and of course, Food: Different by Design (this year's Australian National Science Week theme!).
