OLANIRAN, Oladele Abiodun is a Professor of Entomology and Pesticide Toxicology in the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, Nigeria. He holds a Ph.D from Keele University, Stafforshire, United Kingdom. He has served in different capacities in the University. His current research centres on insect pest management and pesticide residue analysis in food and the environment. He is also the Team Lead (West Africa) for Climate Smart Agriculture Youth Network Global (GCSAYN) which is a dynamic network of youth-serving individuals and partner organizations with a strong interest in Climate Smart Agriculture and sustainable agriculture. He has successfully supervised 9 post graduate students. He is currently supervising 4 Ph.D and 6 Master’s degree students. He has taught full-time for 19 years and was appointed a full Professor in 2020.
